MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Stanton is a 1992 graduate and former associate professor in oral medicine and diagnosis from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Stanton’s educational pursuit has led him to numerous advanced trainings in cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, Invisalign® (removable braces), CEREC (one-appointment crowns), endodontics (root canals) and wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Stanton has been recognized as an Invisalign Elite Provider because of his hard work and dedication to the needs of his patients. Dr. Stanton enjoys anything outdoors. He likes fishing with his daughters, archery with his son, and coaching youth basketball, baseball and football teams.
Dr. Joseph Opack is a 2007 graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has been a part of St. Paul Family Dentistry ever since. He is committed to delivering the most up to date quality dental care possible. Dr. Opack enjoys furthering his dental education with numerous courses each year. He has a special interest in dental implants, cosmetic and CEREC dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Along with these courses, Dr. Opack is a member of Spear Education, the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, CEREC DOCTORS, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Opack is a Duluth native who enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Katie, and their four children. Dr. Opack looks forward to building a long-term relationship with his patients in the office and in the St. Paul community.
Dr. Opack is a graduate from Creighton Dental school in Omaha, Nebraska. He has extensive experience in treating dental trauma, emergency dental care and wisdom teeth removal as well as many restorative procedures. He is a member of the ADA and pursues continuing education in endodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. When Dr. Opack is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys many outdoor activities, sports and music.
I have been a part of St. Paul Family Dentistry since 1981. My favorite part about my job is building lasting relationships with my patients and helping the practice grow over the years. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband, our children and grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking and reading a good book.
St. Paul Family Dentistry has been my work home since 2004! I love that I get to work in the evenings, which allows patients easier flexibility with their schedules. When not in the office, I work educating other offices about the benefits of water flossing as a professional educator with Waterpik. I also enjoy volunteering with the local food shelf and Operation Grace. I enjoy traveling, gardening, hiking, pilates and kayaking.
I have been with St. Paul Family Dentistry since 2005. I enjoy the fun, friendly atmosphere our office provides. As a hygienist, I value the importance of prevention and make every effort to provide a comfortable visit for each patient. I strive to help my patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. I love my time spent with my husband and two daughters, traveling, exploring the outdoors, triathlons and cooking healthy recipes.
I graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2015 and St. Paul Family Dentistry has been my home ever since. The best part of my job is working with great, caring, Dentists, and equally caring staff who have the common goal of making our patients feel comfortable and welcome. Besides work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, fishing, biking, and shopping!
I started in the dental field in 1985, and I have been at St. Paul Family Dentistry as a hygienist since 2018. While at work, I enjoy meeting new patients and their families and building great patient relationships. Outside of work, I spend time with my family, especially with my grandson!
I have been working in the dental field since 2011; I am licensed as both a dental hygienist and dental assistant, with a Bachelors degree in dental hygiene. I believe that the experience in both roles allows me to better educate my patients on all aspects of their dental needs. The most rewarding part of my career is building relationships with my patients and easing their stress of coming into the dentist. Other than work, I am passionate about my rescue Pitbull group, horses, family and friends. I enjoy snowboarding, fishing, hiking and spending time outdoors year-round!
I have been with St. Paul Family Dentistry since October 2019. As a dental hygienist my focus is providing high-quality care to my patients and educating them on how to maintain good oral health. I am committed to making hygiene appointments a comfortable and positive experience. I am also passionate on building long lasting relationships with each of my patients. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising and cooking.
I have been a dental assistant here at St. Paul Family Dentistry since 1984. I love dentistry and enjoy assisting Dr. Joe Opack. I have a second family here at the SPFD and enjoy coming to work! When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bill, and two sons. We enjoy being outdoors at our family cabin.
I have been working at St. Paul Family Dentistry since 2003 as a dental assistant. My career is rewarding in many different ways, but I believe the most rewarding part is that I am able to take care of our patients and ensure that they have a comfortable and stress-free dental experience. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, playing softball, and being in the outdoors.
I have been working for almost 23 years as Dr. Stanton’s assistant! I enjoy listening to our patient’s stories and I always remember one thing about each person I meet. When I am away from my work family; I am making memories with my family. I enjoy refinishing wood and painted the interior (I’ve painted every surface two separate times; maybe three by the time you read this) walls and cabinets of my home. My son is 19 and my daughter is 15; currently the only kind of running I’ve been doing is “running” my daughter around.
I started at St. Paul Family Dentistry in 2012. My favorite part of being a dental assistant is having the opportunity to aid in creating beautiful, healthy smiles. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful daughter and exercising, especially running outdoors!
I have been a dental assistant since 2000. In January 2016, I moved back to the St. Paul area to join our team as Dr. David Opack’s assistant. I specialize in restorative functions, allowing me to do more with my patients. In my free time I enjoy being with family, friends and traveling!
I received my dental assistant diploma from Northeast Metro Technical College in 1988. I have worked in dental offices throughout the Twin Cities and northern areas. I have three grown children that I enjoy spending time with during family barbeques and holidays. I love gardening and refurbishing furniture that I find at yard sales and thrift stores. I am very happy to be part of the St. Paul Family Dentistry team!
I have been fortunate to be employed with St. Paul Family Dentistry since 2005 as part of the front office team and a licensed dental assistant. My favorite part of my job is working at an office that is based on the principles of compassion, integrity and quality of care and has our patients’ best interest at heart. Although I enjoy my job, my most treasured time is spending time with my husband and four kids.
I joined the St. Paul Dentistry team in 2015. Let me tell you: time sure flies when you’re surrounded by great coworkers and patients. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, trying new cuisines, spending time with my amazing family and my new puppy Bernie!
In 2018, I joined St. Paul Family Dentistry’s team as an intern. Currently, I am a student at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in Biology. During my free time I enjoy kayaking and anything outdoors.
I joined the St. Paul Family Dentistry team in the summer of 2020. It has been a pleasure meeting the team and interacting with our patients! I speak both English and Spanish; my native country is Ecuador. Outside of work, I love spending time with my boyfriend and family, as well as playing soccer.
